Division of the Nations
Gen. 10

In the map from the hyperlink below, you will find a legend of many of the nations that can be identified who descended from Noah’s three sons (Ps. 49:11). Generally, you will notice that Japheth’s sons settled in the north, and eventually migrated into Europe; Shem’s sons settled in the east and eventually migrated to the near east and America, where they were Native Americans; Ham’s sons settled south and eventually migrated into Africa.

Three times in this chapter we find that the nations were "divided." This is a key to understanding God’s nature. God is a divider. And the reason for the divisions is so that the nations would seek God (Acts 17:26-27).

The more global society has become, the more godless it has become. And the groups behind globalization like the World Bank, the World Council of Churches, the World Health Organization, and so forth, are in the United Nations. This is the group responsible for getting everybody together under a world government.

So, God tries to keep them "divided" while the devil tries to "unite" them. The devil’s objective is to break down the boundaries so he can rob their treasures and damn their souls (Is. 10:5-14). Christians, therefore, should be opposed to movements that "unite" churches, nations, governments and religions.
